Winter Splendor, oil/linen, 30x40

New Painting

A Golden New Year, oil/linen, 30x40

I just finished this painting, "A Golden New Year." It will be part of my show in November at Travis Gallery in New Hope, PA.

Krylon Kamar Varnish

Another tip from my DVD "River Bend". Krylon Kamar Varnish is perfect to restore values that have either sunken in or remain too glossy. Perfect for a fresh painting session.

All of the color that's inside the tree is reflected light which makes it softer by contrast. Details of various types of light striking vines and branches to follow.
